A train trip to Jodrell Bank, where the Lovell radio telescope looms large. Sir Bernard Lovell was there to greet our group, while one of his colleagues took us on a guided tour of such cool places as the main control room for the telescopes.

The planetarium at Jodrell Bank visitors center. They even presented the group a Loch Ness Productions show -- More Than Meets The Eye. It had to be one of the most, umm, remarkable presentations, by Eric, one of the most energetic lecturers we've met.
