WomanLand has happened! Women have arrived, women have eaten, rested, toured, and shopped! The following pages have highlights pictures from our WomanLand festivities. Friday, May 24: We made a leisurely trip into Boston for lunch at Bella Vista in the North End, followed by a walking tour of Paul Revere's statue, St. Leonard's church, Copps Burying Ground, and the Old North Church. After that we went to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market for more shopping and sightseeing. Saturday, May 25:We headed out to the Vermont Country Store, picnicking at a Vermont Park along the way. After some righteous shopping, we headed down to Yankee Candle -- where apparently no one took pictures. Sunday, May 26:We had a special luncheon at Pickety Place Herb garden and restaurant in Mason, New Hampshire. I'm sure Daddy was wondering about the roads after we left the blacktop and went into the woods for a couple of miles past the Pig Pen Hill farms and other rustic places. But it was worth the drive and we had a wonderful time visiting the gift shops, gardens, greenhouses, and of course, eating the lunch! Monday May 27:Relaxing! What else is there? Monday May 27:The last night! A birthday party for Carolyn, Margaret, and Betsy -- and final full night of WomanLand! |
