Public Observatory

ECCS automation; 12 panel pan, All-Sky, dissolvers, wide angles, chords, video/data projector (LD, SVHS, DVD, Computer RGB feeds). This museum planetarium is also an adjunct classroom to the Volusia County Schools, which employs the Curator who is required to be a Florida certified teacher.

Cinema 360

Four public sky shows offered each year, usually relating to current sky events and astronomy topics - $3/person. School programs offered free of charge to Treasure Coast public and private schools, grades K - 12. College Introductory astronomy also taught.

Weekly public live/interactive, fulldome, and music shows, as well as custom school field trip shows. We also support Santa Fe College science, aviation and other classes, as well as Univ of Florida wilderness training classes. Monthly telescope outreach.

The facility also offers laser light shows, Cosmic Concerts, which utilize not only the AVI Skylase but also aspects of the MediaGlobe and the ECCS automated cove system.
